Document Management
Using our build-in
electronic document management solution to move toward a paperless
practice makes it easy for clinicians to quickly and easily access
images like X-rays or documents like medical histories, while reducing
the time spent managing typical paperwork, whether prescriptions or
patient notes.
Lab Interfaces
The interface with Quest
allows you to do just that. You
simply download your results file from the Quest on Demand website and
upload the patient lab results
directly into your system. The lab results are imported into a clinical
in-box in Charting Plus. From there, the clinical staff can review the
information and then send it on to the patient's folder to be added to
the patients electronic health record.
LabCorp offers two ways to get the lab results from them into MediNotes
e. To effectively utilize the LabCorp product, some form of
communications protocol is required by the client.

Modem and Communications Software: A modem
script has been created by MediNotes as of Version 4.4 Build 8.
MediNotes Technical support can assist in setting up the script.
Note: The client must have a dedicated modem available for this
interface.

Downloading results occurs in three steps: Run batch file, dial into
results bank, download results.

Results are downloaded via the modem to a folder on the hard drive,
analyzed and distributed to patient’s files via MediNotes e.
