Many other EMR systems provide the information you need at the cost of moving from screen to screen until you get to the screen that gives you the information (that part is never shown on our competitors demonstrations), MediNotes e dynamic and well structured screens, takes you to the information you need with a very simple click which utilizes a “tab” concept for simplicity and ease of navigation. Just as tabbed browsing is improving multi-tasking for internet users, tabs in an electronic medical records allow you to multi-task like never before. MediNotes e can display multiple patients at a time, patient flow, workflow items, alerts, encounter notes, messages, and more, all in accessible tabs within the MediNotes e shell.
Medinotes e graphical user friendly interface helps the new user to intuitive see the functions and tasks. For the end user, such as any office staff, a training or 30 minutes or so will be enough to get them started with the most basic tasks such as searching a patient, scanning information, work on the scheduler, searching notes and many other basic tasks. For this type of users they become productive from the first moment they face the software. Obviously a robust training will show them on the parts where they will be more productive.
Medinotes e is very easy to learn as Microsoft Word is, where the basic functionality is at sight, and for the most complex or sophisticated tasks, requires some training such as how to create templates and the understanding of the objects within the software. In Microsoft Word you can merge data with databases, and that is considered a sophisticated task to learn. In Medinotes e, you can create your own templates by combining all the elements into the templates. That task is as easy as merging a database into Microsoft word, obviously without a training, you will be able to figure out at the end, but to be productive immediately, a training is better and recommended so you understand fully all the logic and the nice things you can do, so your template becomes an state-of-the-art tool and very flexible template.
We have training experience dating back to the early 1990s, when computer systems were not so common. No matter if you are a computer savvy, or that of your staff, part of our job is to ensure that your system is not only installed and implemented, but being used in its most efficient manner. |
